About me
My journey through Stoicism

I didn’t find Stoicism in a bookshop or a philosophy class—I found it in one of the hardest times of my life. When I was 30 years old, I lost my father, and at the same time, I was dealing with serious financial stress. Everything felt overwhelming. I was constantly worrying about things outside of my control, and I didn’t know how to handle it. At some point, I came across Stoicism.
First, it was just a few quotes, then - Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, then The Daily Stoic. And honestly? It clicked. The way Stoicism cut through all the noise, focusing on what actually matters—what you can control, your own actions, your mindset—it was exactly what I needed.
Daily practice
I started applying Stoic principles every single day—not just reading about them, but actually living them. I began journaling every morning, reflecting on how to approach challenges with a Stoic mindset. Meditation helped me slow down and focus on the present.
The more I practiced, the more I realized how powerful these ideas were—not just for getting through hard times, but for living better, thinking clearer, and worrying less.
While Stoicism shapes how I live, it’s not the only thing that drives me. I also love playing Golf, cooking and baking bread, Engineering (my day job) and heathy living habits.
Some books that have stuck with me:
- 📖 The Daily Stoic – Perfect for daily reflections.
- 💡 The Obstacle Is the Way – Helped me rethink setbacks.
- 🧘♂️ Meditations – Marcus Aurelius' personal notes, full of wisdom.
- 🛡 How to Think Like a Roman Emperor – Makes Stoicism feel relevant today.
Why Stoic Vitae
At first, I was just creating Stoic-inspired artwork for fun. I love being creative, and designing visuals based on Stoic ideas was a way for me to express what this philosophy meant to me.
At some point, I realized I could actually put my art onto canvas—something real, something physical that could serve as a daily reminder of these principles. That’s when I thought: why not share this with others?
This isn’t just about selling products—it’s about creating something meaningful. Whether it’s a quote that helps you shift your mindset or a piece of art that reminds you to focus on what you can control, I want these designs to be useful in everyday life, just like Stoicism itself.
